Founder

Kelly obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University. Rather than pursue medicine, she went on to complete her master’s degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. She spent the next 15 years working in the corporate world, spending the latter half of her career with JPMorgan Chase. She took a leap of faith in 2013 and left her corporate career to become an entrepreneur. Kelly’s adventure as an entrepreneur has been painful yet full of joy, as she claims life is all about learning and growing in a positive environment. She is the mom to two children who have seen first-hand the ups and downs of starting a business from scratch.

Research & Development, Chemist

Shilpi earned a Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Toronto, Canada magna cum laude with 5 publications and 2 patents. After working over 18 years in research and development and biotechnology industries and being the Principal formulator behind some big brands like Jack Black, Obagi, Elta MD, Shilpi created a cruelty free skincare line that was performance based, using botanicals from ancient wisdom. She has worked on the obesity drug development, Lorcaserin, as a Medicinal Scientist with Arena and has the ability to creatively combine her rich cosmetics formulation experience with pharmaceutical research and knowledge of cruelty free ingredients. In her spare time, Shilpi likes to practice yoga, travel around the globe with her family, bake desserts, work towards empowering students to take STEM courses and find ways to reduce hunger. 

Brand Boss

Iwona oversees PREP’s art department and all things related to the brand. She graduated from the University of Utah and was the Art Director for the Seattle Symphony for eight years and has a keen eye for clean lines and pops of color. An immigrant from Poland, Iwona came to the states when she was 21 years old. She’s the mom to a set of twins which keeps her running every single day of the week!

Shipping + Logistics

Regina keeps our office orderly and running on time. Her official title is “Chaos Coordinator” because she oversees our shipping and logistics department and works intimately with our EDI team. She previously worked as an Inventory Specialist at a distribution center which shipped to Trader Joe’s stores spanning from Texas to Colorado. Regina delights in spreadsheets, pivot tables and V-lookups. She is known in the office as the inventory expert as she has her pulse on all inventory at every waking moment! She is a mom to FIVE kiddos. She knows a thing or two about being a chaos coordinator.

Lead Designer

Lauren graduated from The Art Institute with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art, and a focus in Graphic Design. Lauren is a first generation American, and she is so thankful for her grandmother who immigrated from Indonesia and overcame adversities to become an American citizen, in order to give her family a better life. Lauren loves all things design and is PREP's Creative Lead + Graphic Designer. She works alongside Iwona on everything from packaging details to photo shoots to social campaigns! With a wedding on the way, 5 fur-babies, one lizard, and two kids, Lauren is constantly on-the-go!

Senior Copywriter + 

Jill received her BBA from SMU and her MBA from University of Texas at Dallas. She worked for Raytheon for 12 years managing contract negotiations, communications and community relations. Most recently Jill worked for fave4 Hair to help get the new brand off the ground.

Jill is a clean living enthusiast, a lover of yoga and spin classes (thank you Peloton), and gets great joy leading her daughters and their friends in doing monthly community service projects. 

Regulatory & Compliance

Pilar is a highly skilled Regulatory Affairs professional with over 20 years of experience managing and directing fast-paced Corporate and entrepreneurial teams in the Personal Care industry.   She has a unique Research & Development background which allows her to strategize, streamline processes, overcome complex obstacles and support global market expansion while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. 

Pilar has strong interpersonal skills and values long lasting relationships with colleagues, trade associations and professional peers.  She holds a B.A. in Molecular Biology and an MBA on International Markets. She is bilingual and can effectively communicate both in English and Spanish. 

In 2017 she started JPD Consultant Inc. to support Personal Care companies in their Regulatory Affairs compliance efforts and international expansion

Chief of Staff

Debbie has more than 20 years experience helping companies unlock their growth potential and increase their market share. She works closely with entrepreneurs to hire highly skilled and effective teams that have the ability to execute the plan, while also helping entrepreneurs develop strategic business plans and aggressive sales plans.

Since 2015, Debbie has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Seascape Strategies, LLC, a management consulting firm. Previously, she was the Chief Strategy Officer and a Partner in an executive recruiting company. Her professional background and wide range of experience allows her to consistently bring together the right team of experts that provide accurate analysis and detailed solutions that solve the day to day challenges of building a business.

Debbie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University with an emphasis in Finance. She completed additional coursework in entrepreneurship at Southern Methodist University.
