PREP Gives Back
PREP Cosmetics is proud to be the official sunscreen provider for the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program. The only national initiative of its kind, Girls Golf is administered through a partnership between The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Foundation and the United States Golf Association (USGA), both non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. With more than 250 Girls Golf programs in communities across the country, Girls Golf members receive golf instruction overseen by LPGA and PGA teaching professionals who are equipped to take participants from beginner to advanced players.
The Girls Golf program also focuses on inspiring girls to feel confident, build positive self-esteem and live active and healthy lifestyles by incorporating the “Five E’s of Girls Golf: Empower, Enrich, Engage, Exercise, and Energize” into their curriculum. This is a wonderful program where young women gather to learn a sport that doubles as a platform to teach life skills, like confidence and perseverance.
PREP has partnered with Days For Girls, a wonderful non-profit organization that distributes feminine hygiene kits to girls in over 60 countries. Through the partnership, PREP Cosmetics, along with the help of PREP girls across the country, is donating supplies and assembling feminine hygiene kits to distribute to girls in need throughout the world. By making a simple, reusable feminine hygiene kit, PREP and PREP girls are giving others the opportunity to stay in school. Now that’s powerful beauty at work.
PREP supports Girls on the Run, an awesome physical activity based youth program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. They teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games and the program ends with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
Changing the Face of Beauty (CTFOB) is a nonprofit corporation that is committed to equal representation of people with disabilities in advertising and media worldwide. Just like PREP believes beauty shines in each person, so does CTFOB. CTFOB believes advertising should include children with all disabilities and they are working hard to achieve their goals through partnerships with both private and commercial retailer. PREP is proud to support their mission and to be a partner for this amazing organization.
