Give Back Movie Night! #standwithme

August 16, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Meet us at the AMC Stonebriar 24 Movie Theater in Frisco to watch this one night premiere of the exclusive documentary #standwithme. This heartfelt movie is based around Vivienne Harr, a 9 year old girl who made it her mission to free 500 slaves, all by raising money from her lemonade stand. This is a wonderful movie for kids + parents to see how one person CAN make a difference in the world.

“In 2014, my husband and I watched this movie and we were shocked to know that slavery still exists. A month later, I watched this movie with my then 7 year old daughter. It was amazing to see the impact it had on her, the questions she had for me and how she began to think outside of just herself + her surroundings. This documentary gives light to how everyone can give back in this world in both small and big ways. Every tween, teen and adult needs to watch this film.” ~Kelly Barker, Founder of PREP Cosmetics
Recommended ages: 10 and up
Cost: $11 and you can reserve your tickets here at  https://www.tugg.com/events/standwithme-qztl
PREP is co-hosting this event to bring light to the human trafficking epidemic in Dallas (sadly, Dallas is the #2 city for human trafficking in the United States). After the film we will have a brief safety discussion for parents + kids on human trafficking. This will be hosted in an age appropriate setting.
